The Samsung Lions hosted the SSG Landers of the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League at SSG Lander Field in Incheon on Wednesday afternoon.
Before the game, Samsung’s new foreign pitcher Taylor Widener posed for a photo in his uniform.
On this day, Widener smiled for the camera with a big smile and made a K-heart with both hands.
Widener, who went 4-2 with a 4.52 ERA in 11 games for the NC, will continue his KBO career in a Samsung uniform.
Samsung claimed injured foreign pitcher Suarez off waivers from the KBO on April 10 and signed Widener, who was claimed off waivers from NC on April 4.
