‘Lee Kang-in departs for Japan!’ Lee smiles broadly on private plane, appears unharmed→Can he fight full-time?

After being injured in his first preseason game since joining Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Lee Kang-in, 22, has boarded a flight to Japan. The injury is not believed to be serious.

PSG’s social media outlets posted a picture of Lee boarding the club’s private plane on March 23 (KST). He is seated in his seat and looking at the camera with a cheerful expression. Behind him, Marquinhos, Neymar, and other key resources are having a conversation.

Lee started the friendly against Le Havre at PSG’s training center ‘Campus PSG’ outside Paris, France, on the 21st (KST) and was substituted in the 43rd minute after complaining of thigh pain. Before being substituted, he described the injury to the staff, including coach Luis Enrique.

He touched the back of his thigh with his hand, leading to speculation of a ‘suspected hamstring injury’. A hamstring injury can take as little as two weeks to recover from, and as long as several months. If confirmed, the injury could have had a significant impact on his season-opening schedule and even the Hangzhou Asian Games in September.

However, French media outlet RMC Sport reported shortly after the injury that “Lee has not yet undergone a medical test, but it’s good news that he will be part of the Japan tour”. According to PSG coach Luis Enrique, the inclusion of Lee on the tour roster is a “positive sign”.

The club announced separately that goalkeeper Alexandre Lletelier has been ruled out of the tour with a knee injury. Lee Kang-in’s injury report has not yet been posted 먹튀검증.

The fact that Lee accompanied the team on the tour does not guarantee his participation in the matches against Alnasr (Aug. 25), Cerezo Osaka (Aug. 28), Inter Milan (Aug. 1) and the friendly against Jeonbuk in Busan on Aug. 3. The club will closely check his injury and decide whether he can play or not.

Lee doesn’t seem to have any reason to be impatient. His 43-minute performance before the injury was enough to earn him a passing grade. RMC Sports said, “Lee had a great debut in Paris. “He quickly settled into the tempo of the game. Skilled in ball control, he worked to make a difference in tight spaces.”

Meanwhile, ‘ace’ Kylian Mbappe, who scored the winning goal in the 2-0 victory over Le Havre, will not travel to Japan. Mbappe’s name is not on Enrique’s roster. Local media are speculating that this is due to a public falling out with the club over his future. “The door is now open for a possible transfer,” Sky Sports commented.

Lee joined PSG from Mallorca in the summer transfer window for a fee of €22 million. He is expected to make his Ligue 1 debut at home against Lorient on November 13.
